This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city and within walking distance to the supermarket and beautiful lake. The rooms are spacious and sparkling clean with amazing provisions such as individual reading lights, USB ports, and lockers. The kitchen is well-equipped and clean, allowing you to cook your meals. Moreover, the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly.

During the winter, the room heater may not be adequate, so it can be a little chilly.

We had an amazing stay at YHA in Wanaka. The kitchen facilities were top-notch - clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed. The location was also perfect, with a stunning view of the lake and mountains from our room. The shower had great pressure and the bed was comfortable. Despite its central location, the noise level was surprisingly low. we had a fantastic experience at YHA Wanaka.

I loved staying at this place! The location was amazing, right on the lake and close to all the restaurants and shops. The staff was so helpful and welcoming. The room was clean, warm and had everything I needed, including free wifi. The shared kitchen was well-equipped and kept clean. I also appreciated the laundry facilities and the garden area.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the town center, with shops and amenities just a few minutes' walk away. It offers a stunning view of Lake Wanaka and the surrounding mountains. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, with a comfortable living area and kitchenette. The bathroom, although small, is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.

Some of the views from the windows may be partially obstructed due to ongoing renovation work at the time of my visit.

We absolutely loved our stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The first thing that caught our attention was the stunning view of the lake and mountains from our room. The large glass windows made it even more breathtaking. The location of this place was also perfect, right in the city center and close to all the major attractions. We were able to explore the beautiful surroundings easily, including the infamous Roy's Peak hike. Additionally, there were plenty of restaurants in the area, so we never had to worry about finding a good place to eat.

We had a slight misunderstanding with our room type, as we were expecting a room like the one in the pictures but ended up in a two-bedroom unit out the back. We had to share it with another couple that we didn't know, which was a bit awkward.

The complimentary drinks and snacks were a nice touch, and the location was great for watching the fireworks. the nearby shops and restaurants had everything we needed for our new year's celebration. Plus, the view of the lake and mountains made for a stunning backdrop to the festivities.

The noise from the nearby common areas carried through to our room, making it difficult to sleep. the bathroom facilities were not up to par, with cramped and unclean conditions.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, with plenty of dining options, a cinema, and a supermarket all within easy reach. the private room had a lovely ensuite bathroom with good water pressure, which was a definite plus. the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, and the amenities and facilities within the hotel were top-notch.

the towel rail in the room could have been bigger, especially for two people. the powerpoint for the bed was located behind it, making it inconvenient to use without moving the bed away from the wall.

The communal facilities were clean and well-maintained, with a pool table, fireplace, and guitar that added to the great vibe of the place. the staff were friendly and always ready to help, providing useful information about road conditions and sharing their travel experiences. the location was fantastic, close to a supermarket and offering plenty of public space for cooking and resting.

The room I stayed in had a few issues. the lighting was quite dim, making it difficult to see clearly, and the bathroom was draughty.
