As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the laid back and chill atmosphere at El Clandestino. The bungalow on water was a nice bonus for our stay. The included breakfast was great, and the food at the restaurant was amazing. We enjoyed the elegant presentation for dining and the outstanding service. The bar had good prices, and we especially loved the Cuba Libre cocktail. The location was perfect for us, as we were able to see dolphins right in front of the hotel. it was a nice getaway with a beautiful ocean view.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

I had an amazing time at this hotel. The location was stunning, with beautiful and quiet surroundings. The hotel provided SUP boards and kayaks for guests to use, which was a great bonus. The owner, Sebastian, was a fantastic host and an incredible chef. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. I even got assistance with bus tickets and arranging a tour to Isla Zapatilla. It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the water activities.

Wonderful location, great food, quiet oasis. Chef Sabastian's cooking is very thoughtful and yummy! Excellent stay, amazing atmosphere, outstanding service. Bungalow on water was fantastic.

During my Christmas getaway, I had an amazing experience at this hidden gem. The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and the opportunity to snorkel right off the deck. The fact that I could witness the magical bioluminescence at night while swimming was truly unforgettable. the food prepared by the chef was outstanding, with a shrimp curry dinner and a delightful pie for dessert. I also appreciated the gracious hospitality of the owner, who made me feel right at home.

The lack of proper airflow in the room. Despite having a fan, I found myself uncomfortably hot and sweaty at night.

The location was absolutely stunning, with crystal clear water and amazing marine life. We saw dolphins, stingrays, and beautiful corals. The fact that the hotel provided free use of snorkeling equipment, paddle boards, and kayaks was a huge bonus. The room was comfortable and the host, Sebastian, was a great chef who prepared delicious dinners and breakfasts.

One drawback was the transportation costs, which added up quickly. It was also a bit inconvenient being on a remote island, especially if you needed medication or had an emergency.
