During our stay at Amazon Field Station Byinkaterra, we were delighted to find ourselves upgraded to a private room with a screened porch and bug netting over the bed. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, making for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The food at the lodge, prepared by Roberto, was absolutely delicious, showcasing fresh local ingredients in a buffet style that was included in our room price. The staff at the lodge, from the moment we were picked up at the airport to when we were dropped off, were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They even greeted us by name and hurried to open doors for us. The activities and excursions included in the room price were fantastic, providing us with an opportunity to explore the surrounding nature and wildlife. Our guides, Plinio and Oscar, were extremely knowledgeable and made the tours informative and unhurried. Additionally, the service at the lodge was impeccable, with airport transfers and even printed boarding passes provided. we were thoroughly impressed with our stay at Amazon Field Station Byinkaterra and highly recommend it to others seeking a nature-filled vacation experience.

Spending Christmas in the jungle was a unique experience! the knowledgeable staff guided us on daily excursions, which ranged from canopy tours to night walks. the food was delicious, and I especially enjoyed trying new local dishes. the setting was incredibly picturesque and peaceful.

Although the location was stunning, it was somewhat remote and required a long journey to get there. while I appreciated the rustic atmosphere, the lack of locks on doors made me feel a bit uneasy at times.

This nature lodge is a great place to experience the Amazon rainforest with your family. The professional and friendly staff will make you feel welcome and answer all your questions about the surrounding nature. The spacious and clean rooms have bug netting over the beds and there is clean drinking water available in front of each room and in the common areas. You'll be treated to delicious meals featuring fresh local ingredients, and a variety of included excursions such as a canopy tour, night boat ride, and a tour of the garden and fruit plantations.

Some guests might find it unsettling that there are no locks or latches on the room doors, so it's important to be aware of your belongings.
