I had a wonderful experience staying at this family-run place in a great location. The host, Noemi, was incredibly helpful despite the language barrier. The garden was absolutely beautiful, filled with colorful flowers, butterflies, and hummingbirds. The views from my room and the rooftop were breathtaking, especially for stargazing at night. The rooms were clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and powerful showers. Plus, the breakfast provided a great start to the day. The hotel is conveniently located just one block from the plaza, so it was quiet yet close to restaurants and with an amazing view of the Inca ruins from the garden. I thoroughly enjoyed my 3-night stay at Las Portadas.

Las Portadas hotel was a beautiful and charming place to stay. the bright blue doors and charming garden created a lovely atmosphere. the staff went above and beyond to help me when I forgot my hiking boots in a collectivo. They assisted me in communicating with the driver and coordinating the delivery. the town of Ollantaytambo was also one of my favorites, with its small streets perfect for strolling. a highly recommended hotel!

During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the comfortable beds and the clean rooms at the hotel. the powerful showers were an added bonus, ensuring a refreshing start to the day. the beautiful garden was a delight to sit in, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere. the hotel's close proximity to the central plaza, being only a 5-minute walk away, made it extremely convenient for exploring the city.

There were a couple of instances where there seemed to be a lack of staff availability. This made it slightly inconvenient, especially when trying to check-in or retrieve our luggage.

Great location, just a minute from the main square. Lovely breakfast with fresh eggs, bread, and plenty of fresh fruit. Helpful owner who constantly checked up on us. Beautiful backyard for enjoying a beer in the sun. Excellent hot shower with high pressure, a luxury in this area. The garden and view from the terrace were fantastic.

our recent stay in ollantaytambo was amazing, but this time at las portadas was even better! the sweet owner made us custom eggs for breakfast and the clean, comfortable property had beautiful gardens that shielded us from the noisy street.
