the property was neat, nice, and clean, with breathtaking views from the terrace. the staff was attentive, polite, and well-mannered. I really appreciated the cleanliness, hot water, and fulfilling breakfast. Judith, one of the staff members, was especially helpful, patient, and provided me with great information. I was also grateful for the early check-in and the safe storage of my luggage by Francis while I was visiting Machu Picchu. the whole staff provided great and prompt service, making my stay enjoyable. the hostel's location was beautiful, with many small artisan and boutique stores and cafes to explore in the surrounding area. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe, and the lounge and dining area provided a comfortable space to socialize with other guests. the rooms were spacious, and I especially appreciated having an ensuite, as well as tea making facilities. the big window in the room offered a great view of the city, and the heating system kept me warm throughout my stay. Lastly, the water pressure in the shower was superb, which was a welcome relief after a long day of exploring Incan ruins.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to assist us. the rooms were comfortable and had great views over the city. the breakfast was delicious and served well. the location was convenient, with plenty of restaurants nearby and just a short walk to the main square. We were also impressed with the hot showers and cozy beds. we highly recommend Samay Wasi Hostel I and would definitely stay again!

Ik had een buitengewoon aangenaam verblijf in dit hotel. De ontvangst en gastvrijheid waren uitstekend en ik voelde me direct welkom. Ondanks dat mijn kamer niet groot was, was er een comfortabele zithoek waar ik kon ontspannen, lezen en genieten van een drankje. Gelukkig was de accommodatie zeer schoon en netjes. De faciliteiten in het hotel waren uitstekend, met een ruime loungeruimte waar ik kon genieten van rustgevende muziek en dagelijks bijgewerkte kranten. Het ontbijtbuffet was heerlijk en zeer uitgebreid, met veel keuzemogelijkheden. Ik waardeerde natuurlijk dat het hotel gratis parkeergelegenheid bood en dat de locatie dicht bij het strand en verschillende eetgelegenheden was. Het personeel was uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam, waardoor mijn verblijf nog aangenamer werd.

Slecht aspect: Helaas kon ik niet langer blijven.

Incredible view from the hostel, with a terrace perfect for enjoying a cup of tea in the morning or evening. Convenient location in a lovely neighborhood, only 10-15 minutes away from the Plaza de Armas and with nice restaurants and cafes nearby. Peaceful surroundings, allowing for a good night's sleep with little noise overnight. Useful free airport transfer provided by the hotel. Enjoyable breakfast, including freshly squeezed orange juice and tea, even on early departure days. Warm water and strong water pressure in the shower. Clean and well-maintained space with comfortable beds. 24-hour availability of tea and coca, perfect for warming up after arriving in the cold.
