This beautifully restored monastery offers spacious rooms and lovely gardens, perfect for a peaceful retreat. While the bathroom could be more accommodating and the breakfast scrambled eggs were sometimes cold, the staff's helpfulness and the serene atmosphere made it delightful. Great for a short stay while exploring the area!

Curiosity got me

Staying in this ancient monastery was a dream! The spacious rooms and stunning architecture made for a magical experience. The serene atmosphere was punctuated by excellent on-site dining, complemented by accommodating staff who prepared breakfasts to-go for our early Machu Picchu adventure. Don’t miss wandering the lovely gardens!

The room was large and very clean, with extra precautions taken by staff. Breakfast had a variety of options, and the staff arranged a driver for nearby attractions. The design of the building and gardens were also enjoyable. Our stay included delicious dinners and live music on evenings. 🌄

Upon arrival, facing a tedious check-in process and paying in advance after a long journey was frustrating!!! The bathroom was cramped, and the showerhead was outdated, making it an inconvenient experience!!!

the location is indeed quiet, but the bathroom was so cramped I felt like I was in a sardine can. after the inconveniences, I expected a complimentary drink or something, but apparently that’s too much to ask. almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

I stayed for three nights in an old monastery and enjoyed the expansive gardens. The included breakfast provided various options, and I appreciated the staff's help with arranging a driver for local explorations. The location offered easy access to several significant sites. My partners and I shared lovely meals during our time here, making the experience enjoyable. It was the ideal base for my adventure to Machu Picchu.

Room was huge and super clean, brekkie was proper bangin' with lotsa options! The staff were like chommies, always keen to help and even sorted us out with a driver to check out the sights around. The old church is a real vibe and the gardens are lekker for a stroll!

Only downside was some noisy neighbors one night, but the second night was chill.
