The staff at Chikan Hoteles were incredibly helpful and kind. They allowed us to check in early after our night bus trip and even made a room available for us to rest. the room itself was very comfortable with a modern bathroom and a strong shower. the location was convenient, only a few blocks away from the main square. I also enjoyed the breakfast, which included the standard bread, jam, and juice, but with the addition of a couple of eggs. it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Great location, just a short walk to the main square. The staff was very friendly and helped us with arranging transportation. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace was fantastic, with a great variety of food. Tea was also available throughout the day. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was modern with a strong shower.

Some of the staff had limited English-speaking abilities, so communication was a bit challenging at times. we were surprised to find out upon arrival that there was an extra 6% charge for paying with a credit card.

We got great value for our money with spacious and comfortable rooms, always having hot water and a fantastic shower. The location was perfect, just a safe and enjoyable 15-minute walk to Plaza de Armas. The staff at the hotel were excellent - they were friendly, helpful, and even allowed us to check in early after an overnight bus and use the facilities after check out before our night bus. They also helped us arrange tours, buses, and taxis. It felt more like a hotel with the helpful and friendly staff of a B&B. And let's not forget the adorable kids!

The food for breakfast could have been better.

The guest house is located in a quiet area near the main square, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and museums. The rooms at the back have been newly renovated. There is a cozy sitting area and a small garden courtyard. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace provides a stunning view of the volcanos. The owners/managers/staff are delightful and always willing to help. The rooms are comfortable with good bathrooms. Bag storage is available for guests visiting Colca Canyon.

Felt like home, with nothing being too much trouble.

The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, offering assistance with online check-ins and taxis. The breakfast, served on a sunlit terrace, is a delightful way to start the day.

The tours offered by the hotel may seem a bit overpriced compared to other options available in the area.

underwhelming breakfast

had a fantastic valentine's day at a charming hotel in Arequipa. Staff were cheerful, room was clean and comfy, and breakfast on the rooftop with views of Volcan Misti was a treat. Would definitely stay there again!

Wifi was spotty.

Comfortable rooms with good hot showers. Nice breakfast with eggs/pancakes/cereal/yoghurt/bread/hot drinks. Good location, 5-minute walk to main square along one road.
