Amazing staff, went above and beyond, booked affordable tours, and rescued us in the middle of the night. Yummy food, stunning views. Perfect rooms with river view balconies. Serene environment, feels like being in the middle of a forest. A must-visit for nature lovers.

the staff at River Resort were absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They arranged river tours, day tours, and transfers for us at reasonable prices. One morning, they even took us to their own monkey island where we watched monkeys being fed bananas - it felt like a magical experience. the food at the restaurant was really yummy and the view from all areas of the resort was stunning. I particularly enjoyed chilling by the swimming pool with a beer, overlooking the river. the rooms were perfect for our needs and had a lovely river view balcony. I must also mention the incredible hospitality of the staff who literally rescued us in the middle of the night on their scooters when we were unhappy with our next accommodation. It was the epitome of great hosting.

The resort is located in a convenient area, close to popular attractions such as the chocolate hills and zip lining. The paddle boarding on the river is a must-do activity, with stunning views and the chance to interact with the aboriginals and wildlife. The restaurant offers authentic and delicious food at affordable prices. The staff were helpful in providing information on local transport options, making it easy to explore the area.

The resort is a bit far from the main tourist pick-up tours, making it expensive to organize tours outside of the resort.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in several ways. the value for money was excellent - we got so much more than we paid for. The prices of both the rooms and the restaurant were very reasonable, especially considering the beautiful location on the Loboc River. Speaking of which, the hotel's attention to detail in maintaining the magnificent scenery was impressive. The rooms with garden views were spacious and comfortable, with the added bonus of a bathtub. The staff were also attentive and friendly, ensuring that our stay was enjoyable. Lastly, the breakfast was a highlight, not only because it was included in the room rate, but also because the chef surprised us with a complimentary dish. Plus, having live music during breakfast created a great ambiance.

Great place to relax, with friendly staff and tasty food. the river view suite was comfortable, with a nice porch for admiring the river view. the pool was well-maintained and a perfect spot for family time. We enjoyed the kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding offered at the hotel.

We found it inflexible that the hotel insisted on charging for the full stay despite a change in travel plans. Although the location was quiet and beautiful, it was a bit far from popular tourist destinations.

We had an amazing time at this resort. The setting was absolutely stunning, with the river view from our spotless room. The location was perfect, close to Tarsiers and the Chocolate Hills. The service was top-notch, with excellent and attentive staff, including a nurse who took care of my girlfriend's burn injury. we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this resort.
