stayed in oslob before, but sharky hostel blew me away. waking up at 5am was totally worth it to be the first boat out for whale shark watching. the bungalows were cosy with comfy beds and clean bathrooms. the husband and wife who run it were so helpful in recommending travel options. highly recommended spot.

I recently stayed at Sharky Hostel for a few nights while exploring the beautiful whalesharks. The staff were incredibly friendly and the cottages were charming and cozy. They even arranged for us to be the first ones on the boat to see the whalesharks, avoiding long waits. The price was very affordable and the location was perfect, right next to the whaleshark watching spot. The hostess also helped us book other tours at a great price. I highly recommend staying here for a memorable experience.

We had a pleasant stay at a cozy hostel near the famous whale shark swimming spot. The staff was friendly and organized, ensuring we were the first ones out to see the whale sharks. The double hut room was clean and comfortable, with a fan to keep us cool during the day. The location was perfect, allowing us easy access to the whale shark experience.

The showers were not in the best condition, but it wasn't a big issue as we used the buckets instead.

I had an amazing stay at a hostel in a small village where you can swim with the whale sharks. the location was perfect, just 100 meters from the shore and right at the entrance of the whale shark area. This ensured that we were first in line and first in the water to swim with these magnificent creatures. the hostel owners were extremely helpful in organizing our whale shark experience and were even available to wake us up and wait with us at 4am. They took great care of us, providing coffee, water, and even a fresh papaya fruit from their own tree.

No negatives at all! 🙌
