loved my stay in krakow and alef was a pleasant surprise. friendly staff, amazing breakfast, and perfect location made it even better than last time. close to all the main attractions and felt like staying in an artsy museum. highly recommend!

Noisy mornings with banging doors.

The staff was helpful and attentive, answering all our questions. The location was perfect for exploring the city easily. The entrance and lounge were elegantly decorated with soft colors and artistic items. The breakfast lounge was like a museum, with beautiful decorations and a pleasant atmosphere. The rooms were small but well-heated, important during the winter. The hotel is just a 10-minute walk to the main plaza.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Old Town, Wawel Castle, and the Jewish district of Kazimierz. The rooms are spacious and furnished in a charming pre-WW2 decor. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is simple but tasty. Some original paintings on the walls add to the ambiance of the hotel.

The bathrooms are basic and could use some renovation.

The bed was incredibly comfortable and the hotel had a tasteful and stylish decor. We loved the cool glass lift and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was also perfect for exploring the city.

The hotel is in an excellent position, very close to both the Wawel Castle and the lively quarter of Kazimierz. It's the perfect location if you want to explore both the Old City and Kazimierz, as everything is just a short walk away. The rooms are charming and spacious, with elegant comfortable sofas and glass cabinets. The large tile murals of Kazimierz and Jerusalem give the rooms a warm and artistic atmosphere. The breakfast was fabulous, with a wide variety of delicious Polish dishes like breads, eggs, pancakes.

The mattresses in the rooms could be better, and there was some dampness on the walls.

It was so convenient to have everything within walking distance, including the vibrant Kazimierz district. The breakfast served at this hotel was fantastic, with a good variety of options that catered to different dietary needs. I especially appreciated the scrambled eggs, providing a hot and satisfying start to the day. Lastly, although the rooms were on the smaller side, they were clean and well-maintained. The classical music playing in the background added a charming touch to the overall ambiance.

All in all, my experience at this hotel was great. No improvements needed!

No AC in the rooms making it quite hot during summer. Beds were too hard, and there were no cots for babies.
