The breakfast was tasty and the staff was friendly. the surroundings were beautiful, it was situated in a peaceful and remote place, which made us enjoy the quiet atmosphere. We had access to free secured parking and the castle itself had interesting areas to explore.

The room wasn't clean when we arrived, with some dust on the floor and sheets. the bed was uncomfortable and too small for two people.

The bar/restaurant could stay open longer on weekends, and it would be convenient to have an electric kettle and tea in the room. The lack of soundproofing in the tower staircase can be a bit noisy, and the castle grounds could benefit from better paving to avoid large puddles after rain.
