The room was cozy and clean, and the hotel facilities were excellent. The breakfast options were plentiful and delicious. The staff were friendly and went the extra mile to assist us. The hotel's location near the beautiful riverside and the center of town made it convenient for exploring the area. It was also great to have covered parking at no extra cost.

The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, allowing us to park our bikes right in front of the hotel entrance with the assurance of CCTV coverage. The tastefully furnished hotel had a wonderful outdoor swimming pool and was conveniently located on the river Tamega, perfect for leisurely strolls and sightseeing in the area. The buffet breakfast was amazing, with a wide variety of choices. The hotel was also within walking distance of the historic center and close to the thermal baths.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at the hotel. Despite the ongoing renovations, the inside of the hotel was much better than the exterior. The spacious and clean rooms exceeded our expectations, and the comfortable beds provided a good night's sleep. The hotel restaurant was a great convenience, especially with its late opening hours and the option of a vegan dish on the menu. We also appreciated the friendly staff and the hotel's proximity to the city center, making it easy for us to explore. Lastly, the ample parking made our stay even more convenient.

Although we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, there were a few minor drawbacks. The slow check-in process was a bit frustrating, but the pleasant demeanor of the staff made up for it.

We stayed at Aquae Flaviae as our starting point for cycling the N2 to Faro. The hotel stored our bikes and set them up for us upon arrival. The staff were super helpful and friendly, even taking photos for us as we set off in the morning. The rooms were great, with a very comfortable bed, and the location was perfect for exploring the town and castle. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice, including vegan options. we had a fantastic stay at Aquae Flaviae and highly recommend it for its high standard, value, and great service.

Additionally, the hotel was located right on the river, providing a beautiful view and the perfect opportunity for leisurely walks and exploring the area.
