We were delighted with our recent stay at a hotel in Coimbra. The location was ideal, just across the road from the railway station, making it incredibly convenient for our short visit. The hotel was also in close proximity to the main pedestrian areas and the university, which made exploring the city a breeze. Despite the hotel being a little dated, the room we stayed in was compact yet clean. The breakfast offered a good variety of options and was enjoyable. The staff, although not overly enthusiastic, were polite and efficient in assisting us. we highly recommend this hotel for its excellent location and value for money.

During Easter, we stayed at a hotel near Coimbra's train station. We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious and clean rooms. the breakfast was great, and the staff was kind and helpful. the hotel's prime location was perfect, as it was located within walking distance of the city center and the train station. the hotel also offered a free shuttle service, which was a great advantage when we wanted to visit the nearby attractions.

The exterior of the hotel seemed a bit outdated, and some of the facilities were not working correctly. the elevators, for example, were small and slow.

Braganca was the perfect choice for us. the location couldn't have been better, as it allowed us to easily explore Coimbra's attractions and even cross the river to Santa Clara. the hotel itself was clean and had a charming, classic Portuguese decor. the staff members were helpful, although some had limited English proficiency. Thankfully, my basic language skills came in handy. Braganca offered excellent value for the price, making it a fantastic place to stay in Coimbra.
