The value for money at Bruma was exceptional, with clean rooms, comfortable beds, and curtains for privacy. The location was great, right in the center, and the staff treated us incredibly well despite the language barrier.

The menu for breakfast could have been improved by offering more variety in terms of bread options.

This hostel is the perfect place to stay with friends during a night out. It's situated in a great location, close to the town center and with one of the best restaurants right across the street. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with curtains and electric plugs in the lockers. The bathrooms are good, although some may be a little clogged. The owner is amazing and accommodating, offering airport transfers even at night. The breakfast is delicious, with a variety of options including fresh fruit, toast, and freshly baked cake. The terrace is a beautiful spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and take in the sounds of the city.

The owner doesn't speak English, but you can easily communicate using Google Translate.

I stayed at Bruma for a few days during my vacation in Sao Miguel. Mr Martins, the host, was incredibly kind and attentive, speaking multiple languages. The facilities were clean and comfortable, with good wifi and a variety of breakfast choices. The hostel's central location made it easy to explore the area and visit local restaurants. Mr Martins and the hostel provided a great experience.

I would highly recommend this hotel.

Martins - incredible, kind, attentive, capable. Facilities - multiple places, kitchen, entertainment area, mini balcony. Location - few mins walk from center. Breakfast - traditional Brazilian food, wonderful, best ever. Overall atmosphere - sanctuary of peace and cleanliness
