canto de luz exceeded expectations - modern facilities, central location, attentive staff.

breakfast lacked savory options

We had an incredible stay at Canto de Luz! Mario, Brigitte, and André were amazing hosts and treated us to a delicious breakfast every morning. the location of the place was perfect, with a metro station nearby and plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Mario even provided us with a map and recommendations for great restaurants and attractions. the rooms were clean and exactly as shown in the pictures. We also loved the added touch of free port wine that we could enjoy at the "home" when we wanted to relax.

We had an exceptional stay at this luxury hotel. The spacious and modern room on the top floor provided an amazing view. It was comfortable, cozy, and equipped with good products. The staff went above and beyond, helping us with restaurant recommendations and daily tips. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better hotel experience.

canto de luz - luxury maison was hands down the best place we've ever stayed at in porto. the modern decor, cozy atmosphere, and delicious breakfast made our stay unforgettable. the central location was a huge plus, with everything within walking distance. we can't wait to go back.

shower pressure was lacking

My recent stay at this hotel was fantastic. the location was ideal, just a short walk away from restaurants and close to the city centre. the room was stunningly large and comfortable, with a huge shower and lovely toiletries. the breakfast was also a highlight, with a delicious continental spread and even a choice of cooked food. Another great feature was the option to serve yourself wine in the hallway, which was a nice touch.

There were some minor issues that I must point out, such as the heating/cooling system. Unfortunately, we were unable to adjust the radiators or air conditioning as it was on a common setup.

Beautifully restored property, great layout and natural light, delicious breakfasts, convenient location with lots of restaurants.

I had an incredible stay in Porto! The hotel I chose was conveniently located close to the metro station, making it easy to explore the city and travel to and from the airport. The central location allowed me to easily visit all the attractions in Porto. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The friendly staff provided top-notch service, always going above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. I especially enjoyed the view from the balcony, where I could relax with a glass of wine in the evening. The hotel had excellent amenities, including a washer/dryer and a small kitchen, which made my stay even more convenient.

The absence of an in-house restaurant, but there were plenty of great dining options nearby.
