The location of the hotel is ideal, being in the center of town and convenient to get to from the airport. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the communal areas are also very well-maintained. The hotel is located in an otherwise quiet area, providing a peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast options are varied and delicious, with fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, and hams available. The rooms have fantastic views, with some overlooking a lovely courtyard and others offering views of a nearby church.

The pool is smaller than expected, but it still provides a refreshing retreat and moments of relaxation.

We had a great time exploring a charming Portuguese town. The hotel's central location was perfect for us to easily walk around and experience the local culture. The breakfast was a highlight, with a variety of delicious options and the added bonus of meeting other fellow travelers. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a pleasant stay for us.

During our stay, there was some noise from a local event happening nearby. While this is not the hotel's fault, it did affect our ability to have a peaceful night's sleep.

The Inn Keeper, Catarina, was welcoming, friendly, and passionate. The property had a rich history and charm, with a museum-like feel. The breakfast was delicious, with cooked-to-order eggs. The house was beautifully furnished with traditional furniture. It was centrally located next to a stunning church and square. Catarina was accommodating and an efficient problem solver. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with luxurious linen. The bathrooms were amazing. The extensive lounge and dining areas provided private places to relax. The "honesty bar" made it feel like home.
