I had an incredible stay at this hidden gem in the Douro valley. The host, Margarida, was warm and knowledgeable, making sure my every need was met. The homemade breakfast was a delightful start to each day, especially the mouthwatering scrambled eggs. The views of the vineyards from the pool were breathtaking. And let's not forget the self-guided tour through the vineyard and the wine tasting led by Margarida's brother, Luis. The comfortable and spotless lodging made me feel right at home. Despite the initial steep and narrow access road, the peaceful surroundings were well worth it. I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable experience in this amazing region.

casa do romezal was even better than last time. fantastic staff, homemade breakfast, and a beautiful garden. margarida and luis were incredible hosts, engaging yet respectful. the on-site winery tour led by luis was a highlight. the views from the bedrooms were amazing. exceeded all expectations.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautifully renovated stone building in Portugal. Casa do Romezal exceeded all my expectations with its modern facilities and delightful ambiance. the breathtaking views of the valley and vineyards from the bedrooms and the pool added to the overall charm of the property. Margarida, our hostess, was so welcoming and attentive, ensuring that our every need was met. Her homemade breakfast, featuring an array of delicious pastries, cakes, jams, yogurt. the wine tasting experience led by Luis, the passionate winemaker, was both educational and enjoyable.

The stunning views of the Douro Valley from our spacious bedroom took our breath away. Margarida, our host, went above and beyond with her warm hospitality and insider recommendations. The breakfast served by Ana was delicious and beautifully presented. We even had the chance to join a wine tour and tasting led by Margarida's brother Luís, which was a highlight of our trip. We cannot recommend this place enough.

The breakfast was divine, with fresh local products. The shared lounge area was like a hipster's dream, with a fireplace, vinyl records, and vintage books. The views of the vineyards were breathtaking. The pool and porch were perfect for lazy days. Plenty to do!

What an incredible stay at Casa Do Romezal! My husband and I had a romantic getaway and stayed for four nights. Margarida and her husband were so warm and welcoming. The house was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious , and the wine tour at Margarida's brother's winery was a highlight. We even left our passports behind and Margarida went above and beyond to bring them to us in Porto. The best and most unique house we've ever experienced in Portugal.
