Amazing stay, well-maintained cottage, clean and spacious, friendly owners, great location, fully-equipped kitchen.

Guests are welcomed with thoughtful gestures such as farm fresh eggs, bread, and a bottle of wine. The hosts go above and beyond by providing detailed instructions and ensuring a clean and comfortable stay.

Although the cottage provides a rustic charm, the shower may be a bit small and could lead to a wet floor.

castelo cottages ii was even better than our previous stay in monsanto. the hosts were incredibly kind and provided us with local goodies for breakfast. the old-school stone house was charming and cozy, perfect for a romantic getaway.

The communication with the owner can be challenging at times, and there were construction noises outside the cottage during our stay.

The location of the cottage is outstanding, right next to the Castle hill and in the center of the village. The house is very nicely restored and authentic, with stylish rustic furniture. The hosts are incredibly nice and helpful, providing personalized information about the village and even giving local goods for breakfast. The cottage is fully equipped, including a kitchen and a fireplace, which creates a cozy atmosphere.

It can be a little challenging to find places to eat around the cottage, as there are limited options in the area.

We had a fantastic stay at the cottage in Monsanto. the location is superb, situated in a beautiful village with stunning views of the old castle. the cottage itself was cozy and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for our stay, including a coffee maker which was a great bonus. the showerhead was excellent and the nearby tavern, with its patio and great view, was a wonderful place to relax. We highly recommend Castelo Cottages II to everyone!
