I had a fantastic stay at a wonderfully located property in Portimao. the staff at Dom Carlos I were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a warm welcome and shown to my spacious and clean room. the location of the property was perfect, just a short 2-minute walk from the city center and main bus stops. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during my time in Portimao. I will definitely book with them again if I return to the area.

There were a lot of options and it was enough to start the day. the location was also nice, it was close to the beach and the city center, so we could walk everywhere. Plus, the staff was always helpful and friendly. They even gave us a map and some tips on where to go and what to do in the area.

We didn't have a great experience during our Christmas stay. the rooms were very outdated and the heating didn't work well, so we were freezing most of the time.

The reception team was kind and welcoming. The hotel had convenient parking right outside. The room had A/C and extra pillows. It was close to restaurants, a supermarket, and the marina where the tourist office is located. We were able to easily access various trips and activities, such as boat rides and safaris, from there. The room was cleaned daily and we had no trouble finding parking space.
