We had a fantastic Christmas stay at the apartment. The facilities were immaculate, recently renovated, and beautifully decorated. The minimalist bedroom was a highlight, and despite being in the heart of downtown, it was surprisingly quiet at night. The location was perfect, with easy access to restaurants and shops, and we enjoyed being able to walk everywhere. Another advantage was the easy check-in process, with clear instructions and codes provided in advance.

That the apartment could get a bit chilly, especially as it didn't receive much direct sunlight and the weather was colder during our stay. We had to keep the heating on most of the day to stay comfortable.

Great views from the room, especially at night when the lights come on. Convenient location, close to restaurants, supermarkets, shopping. Cleanliness was good, with cleaners coming mid-week to make it spotless again.

The bed and pillows were too hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom ventilator didn't work, so we had to leave the door open and windows open after every shower.

We had a wonderful stay in Funchal at Downtown Funchal Apartments! The helpful reception, well-equipped kitchen, and beautiful balcony made our stay enjoyable. The air conditioning kept us comfortable, and the apartment had a unique and stylish decor. The location was perfect, with great restaurants nearby and easy access to tourist activities. The apartment was clean and had plenty of natural light. we had a fantastic experience and would definitely book again!
