We stayed at a lovely guest house in São Vicente, situated about 3km above the village and the ocean. the views from the balconies overlooking the sea and vineyards were absolutely gorgeous. the host, Joaquim, was extremely welcoming and went out of his way to help us navigate the area and explore the village and its surroundings. the fully equipped kitchen was a bonus for those who wanted to cook. We enjoyed sitting outside in the beautiful inner courtyard area. the location was also convenient for visiting the Seixal natural pools, Porto Moniz, and even Funchal by bus. a fantastic place to experience life in the mountains with easy accessibility.

Can't fault anything about it! 👍

We had a wonderful stay at a peaceful and spacious house in the countryside with amazing views. the check-in process was easy and the description of the property was clear and straightforward. the host who welcomed us was friendly and extremely helpful. the house itself was nicely renovated and had charming decorations. the kitchen was well-equipped and the dining room was lovely. our experience at the guest house exceeded our expectations.
