The location of this hotel was fantastic, with a short walk to the beach and a beautiful public walkway along the water just across the street. The breakfast served at the hotel was excellent, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The elegant setting of the hotel added to the overall experience. While not directly on the water, the location was still convenient and enjoyable. The historic charm of the property was also a highlight, with two common rooms for relaxation and a chill bar. The tasting menu dinner at the restaurant was exceptional, and the service was top-notch. The room itself was nicely decorated and comfortable. The beach club, although a short distance away, provided a scenic setting for a light lunch. I would recommend this hotel for a 2-3 night stay.

While the hotel is considered 5-star, I found it difficult to understand what set it apart from a 4-star. The room rates and dinner prices were quite expensive, although worth it for a special occasion.

Exceptional staff, immaculate rooms, and great location facing the river. Splendid interior design reminiscent of the legendary Guadiana Hotel. Professional and helpful staff. Quality breakfast and dinner, including superb cocktails. A fine way to enjoy an alternative Algarve experience.

The decoration was beautiful and the rooms were really comfortable. the staff was friendly and always willing to help. the location was perfect to go shopping around the area, and there was a beach club where we could go to enjoy the sun. the Christmas atmosphere was really cozy and nice.

The breakfast service was too slow, and it took us more than an hour and a half to have our breakfast ready. that, the food was not that great.

Guests can also enjoy the flawless transfer service provided by the hotel to the beach club.

One small suggestion is that the reception could be more efficient in providing information about activities and restaurant recommendations.

This hotel is a luxurious retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. the exclusive amenities provided here are top, notch, such as their stunning outdoor swimming pool and private facilities. We enjoyed soaking up the sun on the sun terrace while sipping on cocktails from the poolside snack bar. the service was impeccable, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met.

The rotating menu in the restaurant offered delicious food, especially the breakfast with its stunning view of the boats and Spain across the river. The beach club provided a relaxing spot to unwind, and the complimentary bikes were a great way to explore. The highlight of my stay, however, was the incredibly welcoming and friendly staff. They made me feel right at home. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the absence of a make-up mirror and limited parking, I would highly recommend this hotel.
