Some of the sun beds around the pool were broken, making it difficult to find available ones for all guests. Food and drinks were good but not outstanding, and slightly on the expensive side considering the quality.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the convenient on-site dining and bar options. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast offered a wide range of delicious, local produce. The modern and stylish room provided a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location offered beautiful views and easy access to lovely walks and nearby restaurants.

First of all, the location of this hotel is fantastic. Situated in a beautiful area, it is very close to the historic center, as well as the nearby monastery. You'll be within easy reach of all the tourist attractions Monsaraz has to offer. Secondly, the staff here are outstanding. As mentioned in one of the reviews, they are warm, welcoming, and go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. Lastly, the rooms are well-appointed and comfortable. Whether you choose a room with its own private terrace, a fireplace, or an elevated terrace, you can expect attention to detail and a cozy atmosphere. Plus, breakfast is included and even offers gluten-free options for those with dietary restrictions.

All in all, our stay at this hotel was more than satisfactory.

I had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel. The location was perfect, just a short distance from the stunning Monsaraz castle and village. My room was spacious and clean, with a great view of the swimming pool and a charming terrace. The limited dinner selection was not a big issue, especially as the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a wide variety of options. Additionally, the hotel provided ample shaded parking for my car.

During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I really appreciated the cozy atmosphere created by the fireplace in the common area. the private terrace outside my room was a peaceful spot to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. the breakfast was a standout feature, with warm and delicious croissants, fresh fruits, and homemade jams. the location was also great for exploring nearby castles and towns, and the staff was friendly and attentive.

While the room was comfortable, I found the heating system to be a bit inconsistent and had trouble adjusting it to my preferred temperature. the swimming pool area could use more seating options for guests who want to relax poolside.
