The people staying were lovely. Balcony view of the ocean. Walking distance to beach. Owner speaks English well. Lent us beach towels. Fridge in room. Our room had an ensuite bathroom. Cost was reasonable. Free parking available on street. They extended our stay with no difficulties. Very friendly. They facilitated our Portuguese passport renewal. Meia Praia was great. You get everything you need. The rooms have lockers, the bathrooms are good, and the kitchen has almost everything you could need. The dining area inside is small, but I loved the terrace, both for having a meal and just for relaxing. Some really cool people from all over the world stayed there, and Richie is good at getting everyone to know each other. In addition, a big supermarket is 10-15 mins away on foot. The whole place has very chill vibes, I would recommend it. The staff are really friendly and the beds are really good. It's more like an apartment than a hostel and is great value for money. The rooms and the terrace are really nice! The supermarket is just a 10-minute walk away. We enjoyed the stay a lot and it provided a very relaxing atmosphere. It's perfect for escaping the stress of the city center. Thank you for that!

I had an exceptional stay at the guest house. The warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the lovely family who runs the place made me feel right at home. They even went the extra mile by providing oil, seasonings, and homemade wine for us to enjoy during our stay. The homemade salad they prepared was absolutely delicious! The family was incredibly helpful and flexible, making sure our needs were met. I can't wait to return to "my home" next summer! I highly recommend this guest house.

We had a fantastic time staying at Marina Guest House! Not only was the accommodation affordable, but the rooms were spacious and even had balconies. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that the guesthouse also offers kitesurfing lessons, which added an extra element of fun to our stay. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed being able to catch glimpses of the ocean from our balcony. The location was convenient, with the marina just a 5-minute walk away and the city center just another 5 minutes. we had a great experience and would definitely choose to stay here again when we visit Portugal.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, even offering to give me a ride to the bus station. The room and bathroom were jaw-dropping clean, with spaciousness and comfortable beds. The terrace was a mind-blowing place to relax, and the fridge in the room was super convenient. The location was GREAT, with short walks to the old town, the beach, and a large supermarket.

Finally a guest house with a garden! And free WiFi, imagine that! Also, hiking is totally my thing, so I was thrilled to find activities to do around the place.

The location of the guest house is prime, as it is really close to the train station and just a short walk away from the center of town. Despite being in a tourist hub, it manages to maintain a peaceful atmosphere.

I loved the balcony in my room, it was the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee and soak in the beautiful view of the seafront in Lagos. The soundproofing was also great, it felt like I had my own quiet oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, as it was very close to the beach and the train station. Exceptional: Lovely garden and free WiFi. Enjoyed hiking around. So glad the nearest airport was Faro, wouldn't want to go anywhere further. The public areas with WiFi were such a treat. Cons: Who needs non-smoking rooms when you can have a smoky one?
