The location was perfect, within easy walking distance of the train station and attractions. it was a great value for money experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Laranjeira. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, both at the front desk and in the breakfast room. They were very accommodating with my dietary requirements and even provided table service during breakfast, which was a pleasant surprise. The location of the hotel was great, situated in the old quarter close to restaurants and cafes. We also enjoyed the balcony overlooking the cathedral where we could relax and enjoy a drink. the staff made us feel very welcome and we felt lucky to have stayed at Laranjeira.

Hotel breakfast could have been improved by offering a variety of breads, meats, and cheeses, as well as serving eggs and local delicacies. However, the coffee was not enjoyable.

The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, close to the central avenue of Viana and within steps of the train station and bus station. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with hot water in the bathrooms. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing attentive service. Guests can enjoy a fine continental breakfast and some rooms offer a south-facing terrace or balcony with a view. The hotel also has private car parking available.

One restaurant in the town was reported to have overcharged customers for additional items not ordered, so guests should be cautious when dining out.
