The housekeeping staff did a great job daily, keeping our room clean. The ladies serving breakfast were efficient and polite. The location was excellent, perfect for exploring the town. The reception staff were helpful with buses and trips, making our stay more enjoyable. The room was comfortable with a lovely view and spacious balconies. The breakfast choice was very good, and we enjoyed sitting by the pool and looking out over the sea. The staff throughout our stay were really helpful.

We felt very welcomed throughout our stay at Madeira Regency Club. There was nothing to complain about.

The Royal Spa is a luxurious haven with treatment rooms. Alambique serves the best of Madeira cuisine mixed with global flavors. Most suites have stunning ocean views.

Who needs WiFi in their room anyway? It's much more fun to go down to the reception area and fight for a spot with fast internet.

The location of the hotel is great, as it is down the hill and very close to the center, with a stunning view of the ocean. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and clean, and some even have double size balconies, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. The staff is also helpful and cheerful, ensuring a pleasant stay. The buffet breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of choices. the facilities and room advantages make the stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The room could use a makeover, as it appears a bit tired.

The staff are all super friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you have all the information you need. On top of that, the rooms are spacious and come equipped with great amenities like a kitchenette and free Wi-Fi.

The hotel could use a bit of updating, and some of the noise from nearby traffic could be bothersome. While the hotel is conveniently located between the promenade and the ocean, there is a bit of traffic noise from the nearby road.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The sea-facing junior suite provided us with breathtaking views of the ocean and the cruise ships coming in. The location was perfect, with the hotel being close to both the historical center and the city center of Funchal. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy bed and all the necessary amenities. We especially appreciated the kitchenette, which allowed us to prepare our own meals. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly, providing us with maps, bus schedules, and even recommendations for places to get our motorbike washed. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Great breakfast with a good variety of food and a nice ocean view. The hotel is conveniently located near the harbor and the historical center, making it easy to explore Funchal. Free parking spots are available for guests who rent cars, which is a nice perk.

The hotel is in need of a renovation as it looks old and worn out. The pool area is in terrible condition and the access to the sea is currently unavailable due to ongoing renovations.
