Spacious and amazing room, feels like a castle. Close to metro and shopping. Quiet at night. Excellent housekeeping and generous breakfast provisions. Comfortable bed and seamless stay. Prefer this character over a big hotel.

Nothing not to love.

Loved having a seating area with a sofa in my apartment, felt like a true queen surrounded by all the neo-classical art. The support team was exceptional, always there to provide efficient and informative service. Free cooked-to-order breakfast and WiFi were a nice bonus. Can't beat the central location.

My partner and I recently stayed at Mercador for a weekend getaway. From the moment we arrived, Juan gave us a warm and friendly welcome, setting the tone for our stay. The suite of rooms had a charming "olde worlde" feel, and it was even more impressive in person than in the photos. The location was perfect, with easy access to the metro and buses. We loved the alternative catering option, providing a well-stocked fridge full of a continental breakfast that left us satisfied. we had a wonderful experience and highly recommend it.

The hotel is situated in a great neighborhood, very close to the metro, making it convenient to explore the city. We found some amazing local restaurants in the area, recommended by the friendly staff. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable stay. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities.

The wifi was not working in our room, which was a bit inconvenient.

During our stay, we were delighted by the prime location of the hotel. Being in the heart of the old town, we easily explored the charming streets and found fantastic bars and restaurants. the hotel was conveniently situated close to the city center and the main avenue Avenida Liberdade.

One minor drawback was the slightly high and slippery tub in the bathroom, making it a tad tricky to get out of.
