my recent stay in machico at a guest house exceeded my expectations. the location was perfect, close to the beach and downtown. the host was extremely helpful and the bedroom was spacious and beautifully furnished. the kitchen had everything i needed and more. overall, it was a fantastic experience.

Shower was a bit tight.

We loved the fully equipped kitchen and the communal dining area with a view of the ocean. The location in Machico was perfect for us as trekkers, with easy access to hiking trails and bus connections. We also enjoyed the cozy and calm atmosphere of the city center, and the warm welcome and helpful recommendations from Ruben and his mother.

This centrally located accommodation is perfect for backpackers, with a youthful atmosphere and clean rooms. The host is friendly and helpful, even arranging a taxi for us at 3 a.m. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the terrace offers a stunning view of the seafront. The spacious and bright rooms feature unique decor, such as a Pink Floyd album cover bed head. The only sand beach on the island is just a 3-minute walk away, surrounded by plenty of cafes and restaurants.

No signs outside of the building made it difficult to find at first.

We had a fantastic stay at this hidden gem in Machico. The room we stayed in, inspired by Route 66, was beautifully decorated with attention to detail. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy for us to prepare meals when we wanted to dine in. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the beach and close to hiking trails with breathtaking views. The warm and welcoming hosts made us feel like friends rather than just guests. I highly recommend this guest house for its cozy atmosphere and friendly hosts.

I enjoyed the activities in the surroundings like hiking and cycling. The airport shuttle was convenient. The property had free wifi and a shared kitchen, and the beach was just a few steps away.

Oh, I just loved the noisy street outside my room! Such a delightful lullaby to fall asleep to every night.
