I stayed at Morgadio Da Calcada for four nights and had an amazing time. The staff, Daniella, Rita, and Anita, were outstanding and made my stay even more enjoyable. The location is perfect, with beautiful views of the vineyards and the Douro River. The property is clean, safe, and intimate, making for a relaxing and peaceful stay. The food is outstanding, from the delicious three-course dinners to the homemade bread at breakfast. The swimming pool and terrace are lovely places to relax and enjoy the surroundings. I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service, beautiful location, and delicious food.

We had a wonderful stay at a charming guest house surrounded by vineyards. The staff was warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious, with freshly squeezed orange juice and a lovely selection of fruit. The property itself was beautiful, with peaceful hangout areas and picturesque strolls along the vineyard. The modern design of our room was impressive and the bed was super comfortable. We especially enjoyed exploring the vineyard and village during our stay. A highlight was trying the fancy communal dinner, although it didn't quite live up to our expectations. Nonetheless, it was a memorable experience at Morgadio Da Calcada Guest House.

Loved the comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom, and the view of the vineyard from my room. The historic manor house and being a guest of the family added a special touch. Enjoyed the company of other guests during dinner and exploring the area together.

We loved the unique old property and the gentle warmth of the owners and staff. The vineyard setting with old walnut trees was lovely, and we enjoyed wandering around despite the grey weather. The candlelit dinner in the old part of the house was rather special, and we even had a resident bat join us. The modern rooms were comfortable, and Manuel, the host, was super accommodating and full of knowledge about the area and its history. The pool was also appreciated, even in the rain. a charming and enjoyable experience.
