The location was perfect, within walking distance of all the main sites in the city center. The complimentary breakfast had a great selection and the common kitchen was well-equipped. The hosts were welcoming and made sure our stay was comfortable.

Great value for money! The room at this hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a mini fridge. The location was perfect, right across from Chapel of the Bones and next to a fantastic little restaurant. The staff were lovely and treated us well throughout our stay.

Hotel breakfast could be improved with fresher bread options. But, there is a market just 200m away where you can find fantastic bread for a great price.

As a backpacker, I loved the beautiful and functional rooms with lots of pretty details. The location next to the Chappel of Bones was excellent. Anabela, the host, was lovely and went the extra mile by providing cake and wine for Christmas Eve. The shared bathrooms were clean and I never had to wait to use them. The rooftop terrace offered an amazing view of the city and I enjoyed hanging out there. The kitchen was well-equipped, and I could store my own items in the fridge. it was a great place to stay while backpacking.

I had a wonderful stay at Peacock House. The location was perfect, nestled between two fantastic restaurants. My room had a balcony with a beautiful view of St John's church. The owner, Anabela, was amazing - she even left food and wine for me and provided a delicious breakfast with coffee and mini croissants. She was also very helpful, answering all my questions and even allowing me to use the washing machine. it was a great experience.

The only drawback was that my room was a little chilly. It would have been helpful to have drying racks or more hangers for laundry.

had a quiet weekend in evora and peacock house exceeded my expectations. loved the comfortable room with balcony and rooftop terrace. lots of space to relax and convenient location.

We loved the central location of the property, with easy access to the bone chapel, coffee bars, and restaurants. The quirky decoration added a unique touch to our stay. The friendly lady Arabella was very helpful and concerned about our enjoyment. The complimentary breakfast and well-equipped kitchen were convenient for a family with 2 small kids.
