I had a fantastic stay at this exceptional hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a spotless balcony that offered a luxurious view of the bay. The staff was friendly and professional, providing a warm welcome and excellent service throughout my stay. The breakfast served on the terrace was first class, with a wide variety of delicious food. The location was perfect, allowing me to experience the daily life of the local people and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. it was a fantastic experience at Pestana Churchill Bay.

The location of the hotel was perfect, overlooking the beautiful bay. The views from my room were breathtaking. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The breakfast offered a variety of tasty local delicacies. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was even lucky enough to receive a free room upgrade. I had a peaceful and enjoyable stay at this hotel.

Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the shower draining slowly and the occasional noise from people passing by, these did not significantly impact my overall experience.

This hotel is in a perfect location, right on the ocean overlooking a beautiful bay. It's close to shops and restaurants and you can easily get to Funchal or Cabo de Girao using the local buses. The rooms are spotless and spacious with balconies offering stunning views. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is delicious with a wide variety of choices. The pool area is clean and quiet, perfect for relaxation.

The nearby construction work can be a bit noisy during the day.

We could hear the sound of the waves all the time, creating a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel like special guests, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness. The service was impeccable, from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The rooms were of a very high standard, clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed. The open-air swimming pool on the rooftop was a highlight, offering stunning views of the bay. The restaurant on the rooftop also exceeded our expectations, with some of the best food we've ever had. Everything was just perfect, and we highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Exceptional breakfast, diverse options. Clean pool area, tranquil setting. Easy access to bus route. Centrally located. Spectacular views of bay and hills.

We were pleasantly surprised by the front reception at Pestana. The staff were incredibly polite and offered us a delicious glass of Portuguese wine upon arrival. The bay view from our room was perfect, and we were lucky to be there on a Saturday when there were many events happening nearby. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard, and the breakfasts, complete with fizzy wine, were a great way to start the day. The location of the hotel overlooking the bay was lovely, providing a nice balance of local life and tourists. The breakfast and restaurant food were of excellent quality, and there were also other good restaurants in the area. The hotel was very clean, and the option to have the room cleaned every day with fresh towels was a pleasant surprise. The pool area was peaceful, and the staff were incredibly helpful, speaking perfect English and even providing fresh milk for our British tea habits. It's worth noting that you can swim in the bay at high tide or head to the sandy beach a 20-minute walk away towards Funchal. Additionally, the hotel is well-connected by public transportation, despite what Google maps may say. It's best to ask reception for information.

Great view of the sea and a comfortable room made for a pleasant stay. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good with a mix of tasty local and international dishes to choose from.

The location wasn't ideal for us, as there weren't many dining options nearby. The neighborhood also had a seedy vibe with sketchy characters hanging around the area, which made us feel uncomfortable.

loved our stay in camara de lobos! pestana made it even better with their superb staff, stunning views, and immaculate rooms. their restaurant was a hit too. the waitstaff and reception team were incredibly helpful. highly recommend this place for a relaxing and stress-free break on a long journey.

Gym needs improvement.

For the price we paid, we got incredible value and the room was top-notch. The location was unbeatable, with stunning views and a vibrant atmosphere. The staff at the hotel, especially Isabella, Celia, Joe, Luciano, Emmanuel.

Breakfast delights could be improved with a more varied menu, including options like coffee/tea menu, eggs cooked to order, and complimentary bottled water. Also, it would have been nice to have more complimentary toiletries like conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, cotton wool.

The hotel facilities were top-notch, including a beautiful open-air swimming pool on the rooftop with a stunning view of the bay. The breakfast offered was delicious, and the staff was exceptionally accommodating, providing us with excellent service throughout our stay. Additionally, the hotel's central location made it easy for us to explore all the beautiful attractions on the island either by local bus or by car.
