We got excellent value for our money at Casa Rural. The room was spacious, clean, and provided lots of privacy. The location was central, making it easy for us to explore different areas of the island. João and Paula, the hosts, treated us like family and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming rustic house. The hosts were welcoming, kind, and truly made us feel at home. The room was spacious, clean, and offered plenty of privacy. The secure parking was a great convenience, and the beautiful eating area with a stunning view was a highlight. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, offering us delicious treats like sweet rice pudding and banana bread. We also appreciated the central location, which allowed us to easily explore different areas of the island and was within walking distance to a grocery store. Don't miss out on this amazing place!

I loved how spacious the rooms were at this place, providing plenty of room to relax and feel comfortable. the well-equipped kitchen was a great bonus, allowing us to prepare meals and save some money. the warm and friendly hosts made us feel right at home, offering helpful advice and guidance on where to go and what to see.

One drawback I noticed was that the stairs leading up to the kitchen and the ground floor room may present a challenge for those with mobility issues. the wooden flooring can be a bit creaky, which could be a minor inconvenience for some guests.

We had a wonderful experience at Casa Rural. João and Paula were extremely welcoming and made sure we had accurate directions to the house. Despite our late arrival at midnight, they were gracious enough to wait for us. the house itself is like a museum, filled with a large and beautiful collection of antiques, including some unique pieces. the ground floor has been renovated while still maintaining its old structures, creating a charming atmosphere. the shared kitchen and bathroom were fully equipped and clean. We enjoyed sharing meals and conversations with the friendly owners and other guests, making us feel at home. the location of the guesthouse was convenient, with a nearby supermarket and a short drive to a seaside restaurant. It was also easy to find from the Ponta Delgada airport. We appreciated being able to explore both the west side and central San Miguel from this central location.
