The neighborhood is tucked away enough to remain unaffected by nightlife, allowing for a peaceful stay. The apartment itself is clean, spacious, and comfortable, with high ceilings and plenty of natural light.

While the apartment offers many amenities, some guests mentioned that there is a lack of heating during colder months, which may require the use of additional heaters.

I had an amazing stay at the downtown flats in Porto! The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city with everything within walking distance. On the positive side, the location of the apartment is perfect. It is just a short 5-minute walk to the city center and the embankment, where you can find fabulous bars and restaurants. The proximity to the metro/train station also makes it convenient for exploring the city.

The lack of heating in the apartment during the cold months was a major inconvenience for us, as we had to rely on a small convector heater that was not sufficient for the size of the apartment.

We had a fantastic stay at these lovely apartments in the heart of Porto. the location was perfect, right in the middle of everything. the rooms were comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, and the kitchen was clean and well-equipped. We appreciated the thoughtful touch of the apartment manager providing basic essentials like tea, coffee, and cooking supplies. Plus, there was a supermarket just a short walk away. Teresa, the owner, was welcoming and made sure we had a taste of Porto upon arrival. this place was perfect for exploring the old town with our family.

For dads, it would be great to have a larger seating area in the living room/kitchen space. With four adults and a lot of time spent inside, one small couch wasn't enough.

I especially appreciated the free on-street parking available overnight, as well as the affordable car park just a 5-minute walk away. My husband and I stayed at Porto Downtown Flats for a few nights and had a wonderful time. The apartment was clean, well decorated, and had everything we needed. The location was excellent, with plenty of attractions and great restaurants within walking distance. Our host, Tim, was friendly and always available if we needed anything. We definitely plan on returning to Porto Downtown Flats on our next visit to Porto.
