We recently stayed at a charming shared accommodation in Ponta Delgada and had a great experience at Azores Youth Hostels - Sao Miguel. the building itself, an old fortress, added a unique and cool atmosphere to our stay. the common rooms were particularly impressive, and we enjoyed spending time there. the toilets and showers, although a bit difficult to locate initially, were modern, spacious, and well-maintained. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. the location was perfect, just a 10-15 minute walk from downtown.

We had a great stay at the hostel in Sao Miguel. The building was impressive and conveniently located near the city center. The common areas were spacious and provided a nice place to relax. We particularly appreciated that they offered a girls bedroom for the same price as the mixed shared bedroom. The room was clean and had a terrace, and we loved the fact that breakfast was included and had a variety of options. The hostel had many bathrooms available and provided shower gel, shampoo, and towels. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and we also appreciated the free bottled water in our room. it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Amazing hostel experience at Sao Miguel Youth Hostel. The beds were so comfortable and stable, providing a restful sleep. The hostel was spotlessly clean, creating a pleasant and hygienic environment. The included breakfast, although not very varied, was a nice addition. Additionally, the hostel's location was perfect, with easy access to the airport bus and a short walk to the town center. The common spaces were spacious and inviting, providing plenty of room to relax. For the price paid, this was the best value for money on the island. I highly recommend this hostel for a great stay in Ponta Delgada.
