This hotel is excellent value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location on a hill overlooking the beautiful Duoro River is picturesque and the views are breathtaking. The staff are friendly and the basic amenities provided are sufficient. The rooms may be small, but the wonderful view makes up for it.

The location of the hotel is really close to the fabulous DOC restaurant down the hill, offering a convenient dining option for guests. Additionally, it is conveniently situated near the river, providing picturesque views and a serene ambiance.

It would be nice to have access to wireless internet, as it is not provided at the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at this charming hotel. The breakfast was fantastic, and we loved the red and white wines available at a great value. The view of the river from our room was stunning, and the pool area had amazing views as well. The location was perfect, and once we found parking, it was convenient. Our room and bathroom were clean, and the bed and linens were incredibly comfortable. There was also a nice sitting area, although the automatic air freshener was a bit annoying.

We had a great time at a cozy vineyard near the Douro river. the hosts were warm and welcoming and offered us a free glass of delicious port upon arrival. the breakfast on the patio was fantastic, with a variety of fresh fruit, homemade jams, cold cuts, and bread.

Our room was small and the shower curtain rail collapsed. There was no food available in the evening, and the nearby restaurant wasn't great.

I had the most wonderful time at a splendid, traditional stone "quinta" on the Douro river hills slopes! The location was perfect, with stunning views of the Douro valley from my terrace. The quinta was beautifully furnished with antique items and had a small but nice swimming pool on the hill slope. I also enjoyed trying the local homemade wines, including Porto wine from a barrel. The breakfast in the hosts' kitchen was delicious, with fresh cheese, ham, and fruits from their family garden. The hosts, Damio and his wife, were incredibly friendly and made me feel like part of their family. I highly recommend this quinta for an unforgettable stay.
