I had the most incredible stay at a small vineyard in Covas do Douro. the staff at Quinta Da Marka were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. Upon arrival, they made a reservation for us at a fabulous nearby restaurant and even took care of our bags so we wouldn't be late. It truly felt like being a guest in a private home. the house itself was stunning, with beautiful reception rooms that were both inviting and luxurious. the views from the property, overlooking the Douro Valley, were absolutely breathtaking. I spent a lot of time by the pool and on the patio, sipping cocktails and taking in the serene scenery. the highlight of my stay was hiking up to the private chapel on the hill - a truly magical experience. it was a lovely spot and surpassed all my expectations.

We had an amazing stay at a quinta in Pinhao with fabulous views over the Douro Valley. the room was immaculately clean and the bed was very comfortable. the staff, including Angela, were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the complimentary glass of their own rose wine by the pool, and the dinner and breakfast options were delicious. the location was convenient, near the train station and close to wineries for tastings. a fantastic experience with breathtaking views and excellent service.

The homemade sausages for dinner were outstanding, paired with great wine. Angela at reception was attentive and kind, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We had an amazing stay at Quinta Da Marka Villa. the atmosphere was excellent, and the staff was always friendly and available to help. the views of the Douro valley were outstanding, and the location right above the Douro river provided a peaceful and quiet environment. the food at the hotel's restaurant was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the tasty wines. the swimming pool was a great addition, and the staff helped us organize trips to wineries and river boat trips.

Quinta Da Marka exceeded all expectations, from the breathtaking views of the Douro River to the outstanding services and location. the entire property exudes a sense of history and passion, with the owners going above and beyond to offer an unforgettable experience. From welcome drinks and snacks by the pool to a delicious 3-course meal with dessert, they truly sold more than just accommodation. the visit to their wine making facilities was an added bonus, and we even ended up buying some great wine from them. Driving through the vineyards along the Douro river to reach the property was an adventure in itself.
