We had a lovely surprise when we arrived at the hotel, as it used to be a convent. We booked a basic room but were upgraded to a one bedroom suite. The staff were very helpful and showed us around the beautiful antique-filled rooms, including a charming little chapel. Our room was comfortable and welcoming, with a very comfortable double bed and all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was delicious, with barista-made fresh coffee and a generous spread. The location of the hotel is fantastic, offering great views of the Tagus river and the surrounding valleys. The property itself is refined and sophisticated, with a rich history dating back to the 17th century. The grounds are well-maintained, with a pool and garden that provide a beautiful setting.

The location is great, as it is very close to the highway, making it convenient for exploring various Portuguese sites. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice bathroom. The service was attentive and the housekeeper was friendly. Breakfast was delicious with freshly squeezed orange juice. The swimming pool was a great facility to relax and cool off after a day of sightseeing.

Dinner was only available on weekends.

I also took advantage of their shuttle service, which was convenient and reliable. The hotel provided a warm welcome drink, which was a nice touch. The room amenities, such as the heating and air conditioning, made my stay even more comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the spacious sitting area and terrace, where I could relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. The dining restaurant and bar/lounge area were also fantastic, offering delicious meals and refreshing drinks. this place exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it to my family and friends.

The restaurant was advertised to be open, but upon arrival, it was closed for the duration of my stay. , the website claimed to offer a shuttle service to nearby attractions, but this was not available during my visit.
