The house itself is beautiful, the room we stayed in was superb. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Our host, Maria, was incredibly hospitable and helpful. She gave us excellent directions to see the sights, so we could leave the car there and not have to battle the traffic or search out parking. Her suggestions for restaurants provided us with probably the best meals we have had in Portugal. And last but not least, the breakfast Maria puts on in the mornings, is absolutely worthy of all the praise that previous reviews have given. I would definitely stay here again.

We also appreciated the great amenities, such as the on-site car park, luggage storage, and Wi-Fi access throughout the hotel. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed, including a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle for our morning cup of coffee. And let's not forget the lovely terrace, where we could sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Nothing is perfect.

Found this place in the middle of nowhere. Best experience ever! The old house was full of antiques and tasteful decorations throughout. Breakfast was top-notch with linens, China, silver, and crystal, and the coffee cakes and crepes were yummy! The warm and friendly owner went out of their way to make us feel comfortable.

The location was a bit difficult to find, with poor signage. Wish it had been clearer, especially if you don't have GPS.

The accommodations at this hidden gem were absolutely mind-blowing! From the warm and friendly greeting by Ana each day, to the character-filled building and beautiful views from our spacious room, everything was just super! The breakfast was jaw-droppingly good, with so many delicious options to choose from. The location was also PERFECT, nestled in a peaceful and rural setting, yet still close enough to town and other attractions. We were blown away by the gracious owners and their attention to detail, especially the elegant dining room and the multiple terraces where we could relax and enjoy the stunning grounds. We can't wait to return someday and experience all of this awesomeness again!

our stay at the bnb in sintra was amazing. charming maria was the perfect host, providing outstanding breakfast with homemade treats. the house and our room were stylish and warm. maria's recommendations were spot-on and she genuinely cares about her guests. we will definitely be back to this lovely place.

I was pleasantly surprised by the peacefulness and stylish ambiance of the retreat I stayed at recently. The décor and furnishings were tastefully done, creating a unique and beautiful atmosphere. The breakfast room was charming, with elegant table settings and delicious, fresh food. Additionally, I appreciated the honesty system for the drink bottles, making it convenient to enjoy a beverage whenever I wanted. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this retreat for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
