We had an amazing stay at Quinta Pecega - Al Bed & Breakfast. the recently renovated room and bath were extremely comfortable, with blackout shades that ensured a peaceful sleep. the highlight was definitely the breathtaking view of the Duoro River from our patio. the hosts were lovely and made us feel right at home. We also loved the personalized breakfasts and the stunning pool overlooking the river. We can't wait to return and will definitely recommend it to others traveling to the Duoro.

The couple running the place were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make me feel at home. Despite the language barrier, we found ways to communicate through gestures and Google Translate. the view from the property was truly unique, with picturesque wine fields and a stunning panorama of the Douro River. the highlight for me was the fabulous swimming pool, perfect for a refreshing dip. In the evenings, we enjoyed delicious homemade tapas and their own wine, and they even prepared a special vegetarian meal for my wife. the breakfast spread was extensive and delicious, offering a wide range of options. I was truly impressed by the hospitality and the fact that they also have a vineyard.

The hosts are friendly and attentive, providing a comfortable room and spotless bathroom. The delicious breakfast includes a wide variety of choices. Guests can enjoy stunning views of the river and vineyards while relaxing by the pool. The property also offers the opportunity to try their homemade wine and jams.

The GPS may have difficulty locating the property, so it is advisable to ask for directions at a tourist office or plan accordingly.

the owners of Quinta Pecega - Al Bed & Breakfast were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. the food served was absolutely delicious, with local homemade dishes and generous portions. I highly recommend trying their white port, which was exceptional. the rooms were modern, stylish, and equipped with top-notch amenities. We particularly loved the balcony with its view of the grape fields. Exploring the vineyards and taking in the breathtaking scenery was a memorable experience.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the Douro Valley. The setting on a working vineyard was absolutely stunning. We enjoyed waking up to the beautiful views of the vineyards and the river Douro. The attention to detail within and around the property was impressive. The cleanliness of the room and the hotel facilities were top-notch. The small pool was perfectly located and provided a great way to cool off on hot days. The genuine hosts made us feel at home and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Despite the language barrier, they were friendly and accommodating, using hand gestures and the Google translator to communicate. The delicious breakfast served with care was a highlight of our stay.

The view from Quinta Pecega - Al is absolutely stunning, with amazing views over the River and a peaceful atmosphere. The spacious rooms come with air conditioning and a small balcony, perfect for sipping on local red wine. Breakfast amongst the vines, overlooking the river, is superb. There is also a fantastic pool to cool down in on hot summer days.

We were able to witness the vineyards and even got a glimpse of the harvest process, which was a unique and fascinating experience. the hosts were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Despite the language barrier, they were still able to communicate with us and made sure we had everything we needed. the breakfast spread was delicious, with a wide variety of choices and everything was fresh and of high quality.
