This hotel is in the perfect location, right on the Douro river and across the street from the train station. It's so convenient if you want to explore the area or take a boat trip. The staff here are incredibly helpful and attentive. The room was neat and clean, and the bed was super comfortable. I also enjoyed the full buffet breakfast, there was plenty of choice and it was well presented. this place really exceeded my expectations.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Enjoyable stay with stunning river views

During my recent stay at Hotel Regua Douro, I was mesmerized by the stunning views of the Douro River from my room. The location was perfect, and I loved relaxing on the balcony, taking in the breathtaking scenery. The hotel itself may be a little dated, especially the common areas, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Although the snack bar didn't meet the expectations of a hotel of this caliber, the breakfast had plenty of choices. I also discovered that the hotel is located in Regua, which, although more built-up than I had imagined, still has its charm. However, for a more intimate and pleasant experience, I would recommend exploring other quieter places along the river, such as Pinhao. I had an enjoyable stay at Hotel Regua Douro and would recommend it for its great location and unforgettable river views.

The hotel had a great breakfast with a wide selection of food on offer, including plenty of tasty pastries. the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, and there were some fantastic views from the rooms. the bed was incredibly comfortable and made for a great night's sleep.

The hotel was very poorly decorated, with outdated furnishings and fixtures that felt old and tired. There was a distinct lack of atmosphere within the hotel, which made it feel empty and soulless.

The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, making it easy for guests interested in exploring the Douro Valley by train. the hotel is situated alongside the river, providing a beautiful view and a serene atmosphere.

The cleanliness of the bathroom could be improved, as there were some issues with hair left from previous guests.

We had a fantastic stay at Regua Douro. the staff were very helpful and the on-site parking was convenient. Our room, although facing the main road, was clean and comfortable. the hotel's location on the Douro River provided stunning views, especially from the breakfast room. the hotel's proximity to the train station was also a plus.
