Sete Cidades is in a great location, close to the airport and right in the heart of beautiful Ponta Delgada. We stayed for a short period of time after a redeye flight and found the budget property to be priced accordingly. the front desk and cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. With three little kids, we appreciated their assistance. the hotel's location allowed us to easily explore the city on foot, with attractions such as the marina, restaurants, shopping mall, and cultural sites all within walking distance. the hotel's complimentary parking lot was a major bonus, making it convenient for us to explore the whole island with a rented car.

During my Christmas stay, I really enjoyed the fact that the rooms were clean and comfortable. The vintage furniture gave the place a cozy atmosphere. The staff was always very nice and helpful, making me feel welcome. The location was also a key aspect, as it was just a short walk to the town center and other attractions. One advantage that I particularly enjoyed was the terrace at the top, which offered great views of the city and mountains.

I was disappointed to find that the rooms were quite tired and in need of a makeover. The outdated décor was a letdown, and it would have been nice to have a balcony to enjoy the views.
