The breakfast served in the garden was a nice touch and had a good variety of options, including fresh juices and fruit salad. The location was also convenient, as it was easy to reach nearby places like Lagos by car.

The bed was quite uncomfortable, with a sponge base on top of an old spring mattress. The pillows were also terrible, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

It is situated in Ferraguda itself, a picturesque suburb, and is also near some of the nicest beaches along the coast. The rooms are comfortable and the bathroom facilities are clean. The service provided by the owner, Carlos, is exceptional and he goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast offers a nice variety of fresh fruits and there are lovely garden terraces and a pool area to enjoy.

Some guests mentioned that the hotel lacks facilities to make or obtain a hot drink during the day, which could be inconvenient for business guests.

We had the best weekend getaway at Rio Arade in October. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was incredible. Carlos at reception was exceptional, even driving down to meet us when our sat nav led us astray. the complex itself is a hidden gem, with a charming central courtyard featuring a swimming pool and well-positioned chairs and tables for outdoor dining. Our room felt more like a cozy cottage, complete with a spacious bed, fridge, air conditioning, and a fantastic shower. the entire staff, including the owner John, was welcoming, caring, and made us feel right at home. the location of the hotel is also ideal, just a 5-minute drive from Portimao. We cannot speak highly enough about our experience and cannot wait to stay at Rio Arade again. Kudos to John, Carlos, and everyone at this extraordinary place!

This hidden gem is located in the heart of Ferraguda, just a stone's throw away from the charming garden square. The beautiful garden in the center of the property creates a peaceful atmosphere and is perfect for relaxation. the hotel is conveniently situated near some of the most stunning beaches in the area, allowing guests to easily explore the coastal beauty.

The bed in our room was not very comfortable due to the lack of a proper net to support the mattress. However, this was a minor inconvenience compared to the overall enjoyable experience at the hotel.
