I absolutely loved the charming decoration of the hotel, with its traditional granite-built houses and cozy atmosphere. The common areas were beautifully adorned with lovely furnishings and had a warm and inviting ambiance. As a senior woman, I also appreciated that the hotel was easily accessible, with a scenic terrace that offered breathtaking views. It was such a pleasure to enjoy my morning coffee and meals while basking in the picturesque surroundings.

If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people, it would be for the children of the staff to assist with carrying luggage up the hill from the parking area. Although the walk wasn't too long, it could be a bit steep for those with lots of suitcases.

We had a fantastic stay at a cozy and tidy stone village house run by a lovely host family. the place had a lot of character, including a unique bathroom wall made of a huge boulder. the outside eating area offered stunning views of the picturesque town, which made for great photo opportunities. the owners were very hospitable and accommodating, even offering vegetarian options for dinner. We highly recommend Taverna Lusitana for an unforgettable experience in Monsanto.

We had a fantastic stay in this tiny inn in a unique location at the top of the village. It is as close to the medieval castle as you can stay, right in the heart of this beautiful village. The hotel facilities were great, offering a comfortable room with Wi-Fi, television, and a refrigerator, stovetop. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, making our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfast served on the terrace had wonderful views and included a variety of options such as toast, yogurt, fresh fruit, and a delicious croissant or tart. Parking was also readily available, making it convenient for us to explore the surrounding areas.

The views from the hotel's restaurant and bar were out of this world, giving me a true sense of the medieval times. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my experience even better. The breakfast offered a wide selection and great value for money. I also appreciated that they informed me in advance that they only accept cash, avoiding any surprises upon arrival. Well done to all at this hotel!

Staying at this amazing apartment built into the rocks was a truly unique and comfortable experience. The village we stayed in was the most incredible one we saw in Portugal. The walk from the parking area to the top of the village was not long and absolutely worth it. The restaurant where we checked in not only had great food, but also served a lovely breakfast. The tavern at the hotel provided outstanding views and the staff was friendly. The local beer made with chestnuts was delicious, and the tavern food was great.

I felt very well looked after during my stay, with no complaints whatsoever.
