The Lodge Porto Hotel exceeded my expectations in several areas. the cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, with every corner and surface spotless. Additionally, the hotel facilities were top-notch, with a beautiful pool area and an inviting restaurant with stunning views of the city and river. The location of the hotel was also a major plus, as it was situated near the waterfront but away from the noisy crowds, making it a perfect spot to catch a glimpse of the river cruise ships. Lastly, the staff at the hotel were outstanding - friendly, helpful, and always going above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay.

Recently renovated hotel in a convenient location near the waterfront. Spacious and modern rooms with quality furnishings. Delicious food and a wide variety of wines available. Pet-friendly with excellent service.

As youngsters, we absolutely loved the stunning views from the restaurant and breakfast room. The breakfast buffet was incredible with a wide range of choices. The pool was a highlight with a good size and a bar open during the day. The rooms were well serviced twice a day and the facilities were fantastic.

Felt like it was our own home, no complaints whatsoever.

Spent Christmas at this new hotel and found it disappointing. On the positive side, the pool area was adequate and not too crowded, and the breakfast had a decent variety. Location was convenient, close to dining options and shops. However, the view from the windows was underwhelming. Another plus is that the staff was polite and accommodating throughout the stay.

The biggest disappointment was the lack of the expected Christmas atmosphere. the decorations were poorly hung, sparse, and did not exude any Christmas spirit.

The staff is professional, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile.

We were truly impressed with the overall experience and would highly recommend Lodge Porto.

Although the service was impeccable, the wait time for ordering coffee or cappuccino during breakfast was a minor issue. overall, this hotel was a welcoming surprise and one of the best Portuguese hotels I have stayed in.
