I recently stayed at the Marketplace in Funchal for a hiking trip. The location was perfect, with restaurants, cafes, and the cable car just a short walk away. The apartment was spotless and cleaned daily, making it a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the levadas. The staff were friendly and sorted out an initial issue promptly. The apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed, and we enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast delivered to our door each morning.

The staff at this hotel were extremely helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to assist us with any requests or concerns we had during our stay. Additionally, the check, in process was incredibly easy and convenient with the use of codes for entry. We didn't have to worry about carrying keys or leaving them at the front desk. the location of the hotel was also a major plus, as it was close to the traditional market and right in the heart of the city center.

One aspect that we didn't particularly enjoy was the lack of personal interaction with the staff. We didn't have the opportunity to meet anyone face, to, face and didn't have anyone to ask for recommendations or suggestions.

had a wonderful stay in funchal at a super clean and modern apartment with a large sun terrace that caught the afternoon sun. good tv with many channels and reliable wi-fi. plenty of hot water in the shower room and lots of storage space. easy entry with door codes and daily service. would definitely choose this place again!

The location was perfect, with the historical city center just around the corner and plenty of restaurants, shops, and bus stops nearby. The staff, especially Cátia from the Storytellers team, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city centre with everything within walking distance. the accommodation itself was great, with a comfy bed and all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the clothes dryer and hairdryer. the breakfast served at Padaria Madeirense was delicious and we ended up eating there every day. the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the daily room servicing was excellent. great value for money and we would highly recommend it.
