Convenient location near the beach and bus stop. Clean and comfortable beds with easy access to bedside lamps and chargers. Lovely view of the bay from the spacious balcony area. Terrace facing the water is a great spot to meet new people. Good restaurant nearby with amazing sunset views.

I got great value for my money at Wax Hostel. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities. The location was fantastic, right by the beach with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The staff, especially Isadora, were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The breakfast experience could be improved with more options.

My recent stay at Wax Hostel was exceptional. The location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views of the river/lagoon/estuary on one side and the ocean on the other. The terrace provided the perfect spot to admire the lovely sunrises, and I even spotted spoonbills and egrets feeding at low tide. The hostel was well-equipped, with clean showers and bathrooms, and I appreciated the option to hire canoes and sups at the reception. The nearby boardwalks and beach were great for morning and evening walks. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, with guests from all over the world coming together to cook and share stories. Despite a few minor inconveniences like shared dormitory rooms and a scarcity of kitchen utensils, the overall experience was exceptional. I would highly recommend Wax Hostel to anyone looking for a memorable stay with breathtaking views and a friendly atmosphere. I'll recommend this hostel to others.

Uncomfortable beds.

Wow, what a place! We loved the fantastic communal area at Wax, complete with a modern kitchen and a superb lounging area overlooking the lagoon. the cleanliness was impeccable, with any mess quickly cleared up in the morning. Although the mixed dorm was a bit unusual, most guests were respectful and easy-going, creating a relaxed atmosphere. the nearby restaurants were friendly and offered better value than in the city. There was also a convenient store just a 5-minute walk away, and the endless beach provided plenty of opportunities for enjoyment. the continental breakfast included in the price was a nice touch, and for just an extra 2 Euro, you could indulge in a satisfying English breakfast. the location was excellent, right across from the beach. the staff was always smiling and incredibly helpful, and the facilities were top-notch, including a well-equipped kitchen, a great lounge, and a terrace with breathtaking views. the beds were very comfortable, and the hostel mostly attracted single travelers seeking a peaceful setting to read and relax. Watching the sunrise from the terrace while savoring a hot cup of coffee was truly delightful.

That the rooms could be slightly noisy at times, particularly due to banging doors. This occasionally disrupted the peace and quiet that I was looking for during my stay.

I recently stayed at a beautiful hostel with a prime location near the beach and facing the river. The hostel had a lovely terrace by the riverbank, offering stunning views. The comfortable beds and convenient proximity to the airport made my stay even better. Wax provided a clean and comfortable environment, making it a great choice for travelers.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the beautiful hostel right by the sea with its amazing terrace and comfy sofas. The room with a sea view was wonderful, and we appreciated the comfortable beds and ample storage with individual lockers. The nearby Wax Restobar served amazingly good food with generous portion sizes. The location was convenient, with many restaurants and bars along the beach to choose from.

Felt very cared for, staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble.

We had a great stay at this beautiful and clean hostel. the location was amazing, just minutes away from the beach and with a stunning view of the river. We especially enjoyed the terrace by the river's bank. the beds were comfortable and the airport was conveniently close. the manager was very helpful and nice, and the hostel had great kitchen and barbecue facilities. our experience at Wax was fantastic.

Couldn't stay longer 😔

I stayed at Wax for a night before my flight and it was perfect! The location right on the beach was amazing, and the facilities felt like a modern beach house. The rooms were good, and the attached restaurant and bar had delicious food, cheap beer, and stunning views of Faro Beach. It's also just a short drive from the airport, making it convenient for travelers. Super clean, comfy bed, and a great communal area to relax. The breakfast included was a bonus, especially with a view of the beach.

Clean rooms with comfortable beds and individual charging ports and lights for each bunk. Convenient location right across the street from the beautiful beach and close to the airport. Lovely chill out room and outdoor area with a swing egg chair for relaxation. Great views of the sunrise from the terrace overlooking the lake.

No rail around the top bunk, a safety hazard. Inconsistent breakfast portions, sometimes receiving less or more even when ordering the same.
