We had a lovely stay at this charming mountain retreat. The rustic ambiance and breathtaking surroundings were truly enchanting. The homemade meals were delicious and the large, comfortable rooms provided a relaxing oasis. Although there were a few minor issues with the facilities, they did not overshadow the overall enjoyable experience. The staff, especially Ani, were incredibly kind and accommodating. The nearby hiking routes and friendly dogs added to the overall charm. I highly recommend this wonderful place for a peaceful getaway.

Pension Iara is a hidden gem nestled in the breathtaking Apuseni mountains. The hotel offers great value for money with its comfortable rooms and beautiful views of the forest. The service provided by the friendly staff is top-notch, ensuring a warm and welcoming stay. The basic amenities provided go above and beyond expectations, including a lovely breakfast spot with a great view to the forest.

We stayed for a weekend and the staff was friendly and helpful. Despite the language barrier, they made an effort to make us feel welcome. The buffet breakfast had a nice selection of cheese, vegetables, bread and cereals. The surrounding area was also beautiful, with stunning views of the mountains and a nearby creek.

The payment process for the dinner was confusing and we had difficulties paying with a credit card. the heating system in the room was not working properly and we struggled with the cold until very late at night.
