Great location on Main Street, friendly and accommodating staff. Recommended nearby wine tasting was amazing. Large and clean family room with a comfortable bed. Nice touch with the muffins. Would happily stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in a very quiet area just two minutes walking from the city center. The staff was extremely welcoming and the rooms had everything we could need, including ensuite bathrooms and direct access to a quiet patio where we enjoyed our morning coffee. The location was perfect, with all the bars, shops, and restaurants of the main street just around the corner.

I absolutely loved my stay at 22 Van Wijk Street Tourist Accommodation. The hosts, Alta and Addey, were incredibly friendly and made me feel so welcome. They even offered me fresh milk and delicious muffins upon arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch. The location of the accommodation is also perfect - just a short walk away from the main street where all the coffee shops and restaurants are located. And the best part is that I didn't even need to drive during my stay there! The room itself was clean and comfortable, providing everything I needed for a great night's sleep. I had a fantastic experience and I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Franschhoek.

The location of the accommodation is very convenient, being close to restaurants and just a street away from the main road. The room itself is comfortable, with a super comfortable bed and a newly renovated bathroom. The service is attentive with friendly hosts. They also provide delicious homemade muffins and a tea/coffee station in the morning.

The lighting in the room is quite dim, making it difficult to get ready for special occasions like weddings.

Had a lovely Easter weekend stay in a charming and exclusive accommodation. Enjoyed the high-quality appliances and décor, as well as the clean and safe residential area location. Appreciated the owner's kindness and accommodating attitude, along with the gift of a bottle of wine. the nearby steakhouse was also a delicious highlight of the stay.

The lighting in the room was quite dim and made getting ready for a wedding a bit difficult. Would have liked a better setup for doing hair and makeup, maybe a mirror and chair near an outlet.

The accommodation at 22 Van Wijk Street was excellent. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with warm blankets and wall heaters for chilly weather. The bathrooms were modern and well-maintained. The location was central, with convenient access to restaurants, shops, and the French Huguenot Monument. We felt safe and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. The beds were comfortable and had white cotton linen. We appreciated the nice touch of having home baked muffins in the room. The host, Alta, was gracious and non-intrusive. a great stay for adults.
