I had a wonderful stay at 278 on Main. The location was perfect, allowing me to explore the town on foot. The bed and linen were incredibly comfortable, and I loved the view of the surrounding mountains from my room. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Despite a few minor issues, like a broken lamp shade and dusty coffee jars, I found the overall experience to be enjoyable and reflective of the character of Clarens. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

Interior beautiful and comfortable. Sue made us feel welcomed. Enjoyed informative tour of store and explanations of products. Room upstairs spacious with extremely comfortable bed. Lovely bathroom with great shower. Excellent location for walking to town.

The breakfast was yummy and the staff were really helpful and friendly. The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything, with loads of shops and restaurants within walking distance. We also loved the stunning views from our room, it was simply breathtaking.

Our room didn't have a TV or a comfortable lounge area, making it impossible to relax and watch a movie after a long day of touring. parking was quite limited and not well-lit, which was a bit concerning for two women traveling alone.
