The location of this hotel is perfect for visiting the nearby Addo Elephant Park and exploring the surrounding area. The Rondavels are clean and comfortable, with their own outdoor seating area. The communal kitchen is well-equipped and the breakfast provided is a nice convenience.

The water heating system in the hotel takes too long to heat up, resulting in wasted water.

We had an exceptional stay at African Home. the room was beautiful with a lovely canopy bed and a view of the garden. We felt instantly relaxed and safe, and the shared living room and tea/coffee bar were a nice touch. the lodge and garden were breathtaking, and we enjoyed spending time there. the staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. the food at the restaurant was fantastic, and the natural pool was refreshing. Our safari experience was amazing, with our knowledgeable guide showing us an abundance of wildlife, including hundreds of elephants. Highly recommended!

We stayed at African Home for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. the rondavel we stayed in was spotless and very comfortable. the communal kitchen was the cleanest and most well equipped I have ever used. the staff were friendly and the location was perfect for visiting the Addo Elephant reserve. the food, both at the restaurant and in the breakfast dining area, was amazing. the surrounding area was idyllic and we especially enjoyed the natural pool.

We had a wonderful experience at African Home. the property is beautiful, with a lovely outdoor area and a delicious restaurant. the staff were incredibly friendly and the value-added extras, like gowns, nail files, and free beverages, made our stay feel like a home away from home. We also appreciated the commitment to upliftment and sustainability, which added to our sense of well-being. Molo Lolo, the on-site cooking school and restaurant, was a highlight, with delicious food and a beautiful garden that grows its own produce. we had a fantastic time and even went on a safari ride into Addo Elephant National Park, where we saw over 200 elephants.

I had an exceptional stay at a charming lodge with a relaxing environment. The restaurant provided the best dinner I've had in South Africa. The experienced driver/spotter made the gamedrive worthwhile. I highly recommend this place for a visit.
